Supervisory role in Miami VA’s initiative to screen veterans for lung cancer using CT scans. The program is a grant recipient from the national VA Lung Precision Oncology Program (LPOP).
Chair, CPR Committee.
Responsible for review, oversight and improvement of all active issues related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the Miami VA Medical Center (previously at the West Palm Beach VA until 09/2022) as well as mediating the monthly multidisciplinary meeting.

International Experience

- Port Au Prince, Haiti. Worked for a week as the most senior pulmonologist and intensivist at the most acute critical care and trauma hospital in Haiti. Assisted with procedures in the ER and with anesthesia in the OR.
