- Port Au Prince, Haiti. Worked for a week as the most senior pulmonologist and intensivist at the most acute critical care and trauma hospital in Haiti. Assisted with procedures in the ER and with anesthesia in the OR.

- Vera Cruz, Mexico. Rotated for two weeks in inpatient and outpatient pulmonary and the ICU in three major hospitals in Vera Cruz. Provided daily care in a county tuberculosis clinic. Participated in surgical procedures.
